What Shall We do?

Isaiah 6:5 And I said: "Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!"

6:7 The seraph touched my mouth with it and said: "Now that this has touched your lips, your guilt has departed and your sin is blotted out."

6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I; send me!"

John 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above."

3:4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can anyone be born after having grown old? Can one enter a second time into the mother's womb and be born?"

3:5 Jesus answered, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.

3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

3:17 "Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Research shows that at the current birth rates and changing demographics of the world, Christianity will once again be a minority religion and faced with a dominant religion that will persecute and kill its followers. The Muslim faith is multiplying at a birth rate of over 8.1. The average birthrate of Christians world-wide is at 1.6. The Church is diminishing in numbers as Christians have fewer children; children are born into broken homes with little or no spiritual nurture; Christian adults are wooed away to a culture that brands organized religion as politically incorrect. Within 50 years the church will no longer be able to exist without a focused evangelistic movement geared toward the conversion of the followers of Islam.

We must prepare our children to be Christians capable of witnessing to the Gospel of Christ in the personal testimony rubric that was used by the early Christians. Once again, Christians will have to journey together a much harder road than we have traveled in centuries. There can be no vacillation, no hesitation, no lack of energy, enthusiasm,or compassion. The Gospel of a Loving God must be shared once again by every Christian. Christians must be able to verbalize and live out their faith in a way unseen in the last half century. There will be fewer and fewer structures that serve as a "blind" for Christians to "hide out" in and "pick off" a few unbelievers by accident. The age of the lukewarm Christian are numbered. Once again we will experience martyrs and persecution. There must be a call to "go forth and multiply" both physically and spiritually.

We will have to raise high the banner of Christ once again or we are in danger of losing the freedom to worship without persecution.

Psalm 29:3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over mighty waters.

29:4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

29:5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

29:6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox.

29:7 The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire.

29:8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

29:9 The voice of the LORD causes the oaks to whirl, and strips the forest bare; and in his temple all say, "Glory!"

29:10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever.

29:11 May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace!
